Imagine The Possibilities (ITP) Consulting is partnering with the Downtown Houston Partnership to support its talented marketing team as they continue evolving their strategic approach to marketing and communications. Through facilitated workshops, coaching, and collaborative planning, the engagement is helping the team align around a shared vision, deepen its audience focus, and strengthen its role in advancing Downtown Houston’s long-term vitality.

Using the Return on Emotion© framework and strategic planning tools, the team is exploring new ways to create meaningful connections with audiences, tell Downtown Houston’s story, and ensure marketing efforts support the Partnership’s broader mission and organizational goals.

Conducted a downtown retail assessment and strategic action plan for the Downtown Longmont Development Authority (DDA), identifying opportunities to strengthen the district’s retail ecosystem. As a result of the engagement, ITP was retained to guide implementation, including retailer support programs, retail-focused grant initiatives, business recruitment efforts, and the creation of a dedicated retail recruitment team to better align investment with downtown business development goals.

Support the Penny Arcade in Manitou Springs, CO with strategic real estate and retail consulting to help preserve its unique character while exploring opportunities for thoughtful growth and activation.

Served as the keynote speaker for Downtown Arlington’s sold-out Annual Meeting, presenting “Return on Emotion©”—a framework that demonstrates how creating memorable experiences, authentic places, and emotional connections ultimately drives economic returns and long-term downtown success.

Facilitated the Downtown Denver Partnership’s annual staff retreat through a keynote and workshop centered on the Return on Emotion© framework. The experience helped team members connect their daily work to the organization’s mission and vision, foster stronger collaboration across departments, and reinforce the idea that the most successful downtowns are built when teams work together toward a shared purpose.

Partnered with the Downtown Denver Partnership and the Denver Mayor’s Office of Economic Development to provide retail merchandising consulting for legacy businesses along the 16th Street corridor. The initiative supported locally owned businesses by improving visual merchandising, customer engagement, and overall retail performance while preserving the character and authenticity that define downtown Denver.

Partnered with Iregular, a Montreal-based immersive installation and creative technology firm, to develop a strategic growth plan and identify new market opportunities. Through a multi-month consulting engagement, ITP helped the team evaluate emerging verticals and position its innovative experiential offerings for continued expansion across diverse industries.

Served as the keynote speaker for Downtown Colorado, Inc.’s 2025 Annual Conference in Greeley, Colorado, presenting Return on Emotion© and its role in creating vibrant downtowns, stronger communities, and sustainable economic outcomes. The session challenged downtown leaders to think beyond traditional metrics and explore how memorable experiences and emotional connections ultimately drive long-term success.

Provided strategic real estate consulting for REV Birmingham’s portfolio of properties in the historic Woodlawn neighborhood. The project evaluated future property management approaches, retail activation opportunities, and district-level strategies to support business growth, community investment, and the continued evolution of Woodlawn as a vibrant neighborhood destination.

Partnered with Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21, to create a phase-one retail implementation strategy designed to enhance downtown’s retail ecosystem. The engagement focused on aligning market opportunities, with the organization’s strategies to support retail growth.

Partnered with Hayat Brown as a retail strategy consultant to evaluate market opportunities and develop a retail assessment for Downtown Pflugerville, Texas. The resulting recommendations helped inform the City’s downtown revitalization efforts, leading to the hiring of a Downtown Manager and the strategic repositioning of downtown real estate assets to attract new retail investment.

Partnered with Main Street Madison to launch its “Driving Small Business Workshop Series” through a keynote presentation and hands-on workshop centered on the Return on Emotion© framework. The engagement equipped downtown retailers with actionable tools to strengthen customer connections and business performance. It also included individualized consulting for four retail businesses as well as a visual merchandising workshop designed to improve storefront presentation and the overall downtown retail experience.
